For info on how to calibrate your bottle, adding in a new one or general use, see our set up videos.
The Puck uses highly sensitive, patented, pressure sensing technology.
3-4 months of constant use and depending on how many times it flashes each day. The Puck works of a CR2032v battery, which is inexpensive and can be found in most shops.
Simply slot a coin into the battery door and twist to open it. Remove the battery and replace it with the new one, before screwing back down the lid. Make sure you seal it tightly by slotting the coin back into the door and twisting it tight.
Kind of. The Puck works in any bottle that it fits into, however, it will perform better in hard or rigid bottles than in soft, squeezable ones – avoid collapsible bag bottle. Be aware that in aluminium or stainless steel bottle that you will need to remove the lid (if it isn’t a plastic one) before the puck connects to it. Unfortunately, Bluetooth doesn’t pass through metal.
No, for now… but we are working on it before we launch. It’s easily cleaned by rinsing it under a tap.
Firstly, check that your phone is running off the latest iOS update. Next, try turning your phones bluetooth off and back on. Finally, try taking out the battery and putting it back in again to reset the Puck.
If your phone has previously connected to your Puck then you may need to go into settings –> bluetooth and click forget this device next to ‘Puck’. Then go back into your thirsti app and click ‘add new puck’ in the profile section. If your phone still isn’t connecting to your Puck, please contact support below.
NO! Although, we encourage you to drink more water in particular we understand that it can get a little boring after a while. So, we designed the Puck to work with other drinks such as squash, milk and juice. As long as the drink isn’t fizzy, then you’re good to go.
YES! None of our products contain any BPA traces.
